Who We Are

Crafting Tomorrow's Spaces with Environmental Consciousness

Based in Toronto's heart, we're not your typical architecture firm. We believe buildings should work with nature, not against it.

Our Studio

Our Story

Look, we didn't start this firm to just draw pretty buildings. Back in 2009, we saw how construction was eating up resources like there's no tomorrow - and honestly, if we kept going that way, there might not be one.

What began as two architects sharing a cramped office in Liberty Village has grown into something we're pretty proud of. We've completed over 150 projects across Ontario, but it's not about the numbers really. It's about changing how people think about their built environment.

Every project we take on has to answer one question: "How can this building give back more than it takes?" Sometimes that means solar panels, sometimes it's about preserving a heritage facade, and sometimes it's designing spaces that make people actually want to stick around instead of cranking the AC and hiding indoors.

Meet the Team

Elena Celvaron
Elena Celvaron

Principal Architect & Co-Founder

Elena's the one who'll challenge everything you thought you knew about building design. With 18 years under her belt, she's got this knack for turning "impossible" sites into architectural gems. She's particularly obsessed with passive solar design - don't get her started unless you've got time.

Marcus Quintho
Marcus Quintho

Principal Architect & Co-Founder

Marcus brings the technical magic. Before we partnered up, he spent years working on large-scale commercial projects in Vancouver. He's the guy who figures out how to actually build the crazy ideas we come up with. Also makes a mean espresso, which keeps the studio running.

Sarah Chen
Sarah Chen

Senior Associate - Sustainable Design

Sarah joined us three years ago and honestly, we don't know what we did before her. She's constantly researching new materials and building techniques. Last month she convinced a client to use hempcrete - yeah, that's a real thing, and it works beautifully.

WELL AP Materials Specialist
James Wu
James Wu

Associate - Heritage & Restoration

James has this amazing ability to see what a building was meant to be. He's saved more historic structures than we can count, always finding ways to preserve their character while making them work for modern life. Total history nerd in the best way possible.

Priya Malhotra
Priya Malhotra

Lead Interior Architect

Priya thinks about space differently than most. She's always asking "how will people actually live here?" instead of just making things look good. Her residential interiors have this warmth that's hard to describe - you just feel better being in them.

David Okonkwo
David Okonkwo

Associate - Commercial Architecture

David's our commercial specialist. He gets how businesses work and what they need from their spaces. Plus, he's incredible at navigating building codes - which trust us, is way more important than it sounds. Saves us headaches weekly.

Our Approach

We're not gonna lie - sustainable architecture takes more effort. But that's kinda the point.

Listen First

Every client's different. We spend time understanding what you actually need, not what we think you should want. Your building, your vision - we're just here to make it better and greener.

Think Long-Term

We design buildings that'll still be relevant in 50 years. That means flexible spaces, durable materials, and systems that can adapt as technology changes. Future-proofing is real.

Measure Everything

We use energy modeling, daylight analysis, and thermal simulations. Not because we're nerds (okay, we are), but because guessing doesn't cut it when you're trying to hit net-zero targets.

Stay Involved

Construction's where good designs can go sideways. We're on-site regularly, working with contractors to make sure what gets built matches what we drew. Details matter.

Yeah, we practice what we preach. Our office is in a restored 1920s building with geothermal heating and a green roof.

Why Work With Us?

Honestly? Because we care. Not in a corporate mission statement way, but genuinely. We're gonna push you to think bigger about sustainability, challenge assumptions, and probably make you consider materials you've never heard of.

But we're also realistic. We know budgets exist. We understand timelines matter. And we get that not every client can go full net-zero on their first project. We meet you where you are and help you get as far as you can.

Our clients stick around - about 70% of our work comes from repeat clients or referrals. We'd like to think that says something about how we operate.
